Gone are the days of logging your sightings down in a notebook, to then mark off in a book or upload to your PC when you get home. AV Spotters is built for the modern day plane spotting enthusiast, and gives you that flexibility to access your complete database at the click of a button. Whats more, everything is stored online allowing you to truly take your database with you anywhere, anytime on any device.

With our iOS native app, you have the ability to;
- Add Sightings. Great for when you are out spotting, insert the details of what aircraft you saw and have it added to your database in seconds. Anything you add in the App is then also automatically shown through the main web based database system, so no more need to upload anything when you get home.
- Search Aircraft. With the search feature, you can type a whole registration (or part of) to view matching results. Once searched, you can quickly identify whether you have seen the aircraft or not, as well as also having the option to view more information about it.
- View Trip Reports. Just back from a spotting trip overseas and discussing your sightings with a fellow spotter? Well now you can show them the full log also, as once sightings are logged in the AV Spotters system, your trip reports are then also visible through the App.

Unlike many other Spotting systems that are out there, the main driving factor for AV Spotters is quality of data. Our database is growing daily with each record that gets added being checked closely for accuracy. We are also constantly looking at ways to improve the user experience, to make life easier for the every day spotter, so expect new features and additions to be regularly added.
